Justice Scalia’s Hat was a gift from St Thomas More Law Society
Richmond Law Professor Kevin Walsh notes on his blog that
“The twitterverse is alive with tweets about Justice Scalia’s headgear for today’s inauguration. At the risk of putting all the fun speculation to an end . . . The hat is a custom-made replica of the hat depicted in Holbein’s famous portrait of St. Thomas More. It was a gift from the St. Thomas More Society of Richmond, Virginia. We presented it to him in November 2010 as a memento of his participation in our 27th annual Red Mass and dinner”.
Just before St Thomas More was beheaded by King Henry XIII’s executioner, he stated to the bystanders, in England of his impending death:
“I die the King’s good servant, and God’s first.” He knelt down in front of the block and uttered the words of Psalm 51. Then he rose and kissed his red-robed executioner.”
Justice Scalia, a Catholic, feels the increasing quandary St Thomas More faced when he served his country. Let’s pray for Justice Scalia.
Of interest, to me, he voted against ObamaCare. That’s good enough for me. I like him already! Praying for the Supreme Court to be as wise as Justice Scalia is. He seems to understand, that he’s Catholic 1st, and US Citizen 2nd.
Obama doesn’t have those sort of strong convictions. Let’s pray Obama wakes up, before it’s too late. He is ruining America.
James Holmes was a PhD Student – I think he was “Framed”
James Holmes does not look like a murderer. Nor does he speak like an ignorant kid, who would take drugs, on his own volition.
During his arraignment he looked like he had been heavily drugged. Cops said “he was to drugged to stand up, for his arrest photograph.”
I think he left in a car outside the Aurora Colorado Theater and was set up, to be the patsy. Men with faces disguised shot and killed folks in Aurora. Not him. Why would a PhD College Student ruin his career doing drugs?
Why would the Gov’t cover up his Trial? Why would James Holmes say his apartment was booby trapped? My guess is the drug was wearing off. And, God allowed him to warn the cops in Aurora that his apartment was a hazard.
There is no way this man is guilty of those murders. His hair spray painted, but anyone could have done that to him, if he was drugged and held at gunpoint.
Since no one can positively identify him as the shooter in Aurora and he appeared drugged and he cooperated with the police and warned them about the booby trapped apartment – he must be released.
He’s being “framed” by CIA, Obama and LIBOR. His dad Robert Holmes and Adam Lanza’s dad was going to testify against those involved, in the LIBOR Scandal.
