Official Version – CatholicMilitary Archdiocese! “In God We Trust,” is performed by the “Voices of Hope Choir,” was written in response to September 11, 2001. It now serves as the theme song for CatholicMil/Mission Capodanno. [Venerable Father Vincent Capodanno was a Maryknoll Priest, who was a Military Chaplain who saved many lives, not with a gun, but by selflessly shielding a soldier he was protecting from bullets. He got 27 bullets in him, meant for another soldier. The soldier he attended just before this last soldier, lived to tell about his heroism. He blessed him, and told him "God is here soldier, trust Him." Then he jumped in front of enemy fire to shield that last US Soldier. I asked Fr Capodanno to protect my son when he was over there in Afghanistan, and he and St Joseph did a fine job, keeping my son safe. I am eternally grateful for these two saints prayers. iSalute U Both!
