St Gertrude’s Prayer for Souls in Purgatory and On Earth

“Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, those in my own home and within my family. Amen.”

JESUS gave this Prayer to St Gertrude, and promised 1,000 Souls in Purgatory would be released from there. Now, the Catholic Church extends this prayer for those yet on earth. So, it is a very powerful prayer, when prayed with faith and love.

Always pray for the Souls in Purgatory, everyday. When they get to heaven, they will pray for you.

I want to give Myself to souls and to fill them with My Love ~ Jesus

The LORD said to me,

“I want to give Myself to souls and to fill them with My Love, but few there are who want to accept all the graces My Love has intended for them. My Grace is not lost; if the soul for whom it was intended does not accept it, another soul takes it.” (1017)

I understand the spiritual espousal of a soul with God, which has no exterior manifestation. It is a purely interior act between the soul and God. This grace has drawn me into the very burning center of God’s love. I have come to understand His Trinitarian Quality and the absolute Oneness of His Being. This grace is different from all other graces. It is so extremely spiritual that my inaccurate description knows not how to express even a shade of it. (1020)

I have such a strong desire to hide myself that I would like to live as though I did not exist. I feel a strange inner urge to hide myself as deeply as possible so as to be known only to the Heart of Jesus. I want to be a quiet little dwelling place for Jesus to rest in. I shall admit nothing that might awaken my Beloved. My concealment gives me a chance to commune constantly and exclusively with my Bridegroom. I commune with creatures insofar as it is pleasing to Him. My heart has come to love the Lord with the full force of love, and I know no other love, because it is from the beginning that my soul has sunk deeply in the Lord as in its only treasure. (1021)

“Call on the angels! Especially this day. Call them with kindness! Send them before you in every situation and watch your circumstances improve and problems resolve in ways you could not have imagined.”

All Souls Day – Nov 2 – Pray for the Souls in Purgatory

Pray the Daily Family Rosary and have Masses prayed for the Souls in Purgatory.

Our Lady consoles the Souls in Purgatory, too.

On Christmas more Souls in Purgatory are released than any other Catholic Feast Day, during Christmas Mass.

Pray for your deceased loved ones everyday. They are not dead. Their souls are immortal. So pray for them. They will pray for you too, and they will not forget your charity towards them.
