Advent Prayer

Hail and blessed be the hour and the moment, in which the Son of God was born; of the Most Pure Virgin Mary; at Midnight; in Bethlehem, in the Piercing Cold. In that hour vouchsafe, O My God, to hear my prayers and answer desires, through the Merits of Our Savior Jesus Christ, and His Blessed Mother Mary. Amen.

*** One Christmas I offered up my Prayer Intention, so that JC Penney’s would not have the Playboy Type Fashion Show. God fixed their butts. It snowed so much, that they had to close JC Penney’s Store, on the Night of the Playboy Fashion Show. So God does answer our prayers. He says Yes, No, Maybe or Wait. In this case God said, “Yes.” And, He dumped a bunch of snow on them. I was rejoicing all over the place, that souls would be spared that sin on Christmas.

Chaste Guardian of the Virgin, pray for us.

Zealous Defender of Christ, pray for us.

Head of the Holy Family, pray for us.

Joseph most just, pray for us.

Joseph most prudent, pray for us.

Joseph most valiant, pray for us.

Terror of the demons, pray for us.

Protector of the holy Church, pray for us.

Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us.

He made him master of his house, and ruler of all his possessions.  O God, You were pleased to choose Saint Joseph as the husband of Mary and the guardian of your Son. Grant that, as we venerate him as our protector on earth, we may deserve to have him as our intercessor in heaven. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
