Don’t Judge Another, Until You Walk A Mile In Their Moccasins ~ Indian Proverb

This is a photo of the Ute Trail.

“The Ute and Arapahoe Indians walked this ridge in moccasins, while journeying;

between their summer and winter hunting grounds.”

Boy, their feet must have hurt.

Ouch!

When I heard a Judgmental Commentary

about a Group of People today, I cringed.

Then I thought of the Indian Proverb;

“Don’t judge a man, until you’ve walked a mile in his moccasins.”

So, recalling this Indian Proverb helped me cope with it.

Christ‘s words, “Don’t judge and you will not be judged” also, came to mind.

And, from His Cross, Jesus had the courage to pray,

“Father, forgive them, for they know not what they are doing.”

The “ISM’s” that people use to divide others from Community are usually given out of fear-based or judgmental decisions.

All of us have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God,

so, we must not stew, but quickly forgive one another,

if we want to be forgiven.

Father forgive them
