Meeting minutes: Dolan’s Milwaukee archdiocese paid accused priests to leave

Meeting minutes: Dolan’s Milwaukee archdiocese paid accused priests to leave.

Nothing surprises me in the Catholic Church, anymore.

I do not like National Catholic Reporter Online Newspaper, because I do not consider them Catholic;

but one thing they do is keep Conservatives honest, if nothing else.

Cardinal Timothy Dolan says, ‘You Can’t Compromise on Principle’

‘To Hell With You’

‘To Hell With You’.

Kathleen Sebelius and through her, the Obama Administration, have said “To Hell with You” to the Catholic faithful of the United States.”

  • To Hell with your religious beliefs,
  • To Hell with your religious liberty,
  • To Hell with your freedom of conscience.

“We’ll give you a year, they are saying, and then you have to knuckle under. As Cardinal-designate Timothy Dolan, Archbishop of New York and President of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops responded, “in effect, the President is saying that we have a year to figure out how to violate our consciences.”

My Cardinal-Elect and esteemed Archbishop of New York, Timothy Dolan – I will follow what he says, until the day I die.

HOWEVER: I will ask that God bless Kathleen Sibelius, and Obama, but I am not in good conscience required to obey them. They are not people I voted for, nor do I pledge allegiance to them. I am an American Citizen, and their Actions, are Un-American, and violate my correctly formed, Catholic Conscience. They are chumps, here today, and gone tomorrow. When their rules, violate God given freedoms, I don’t have to obey them. Plain. Simple. Period. They are in contempt of Congress and the Citizens of the United States, and I will not obey such people. They hold Catholic Faithful and Catholic Dogma’s in contempt. And, that is PURE EVIL, and a violation of my Religious Freedoms.

I made Archbishop Timothy Dolan’s Photograph bigger, by my choice. The other two play minor, very minor roles, in my life, and the lives of the American People, who hold them in contempt of their God-given rights, as well. I ask God to bless them with repentance, and I ask God to replace them, with People who will respect my rights, and that of other Catholics, and other religions.

Archbishop of New York – Timothy Dolan’s Statement on NY Gay Marriage Bill

Statement of the Bishops of New York State on SSM
June 24, 2011

The following is a statement from Archbishop Timothy Dolan and the bishops of New York State:

The passage by the Legislature of a bill to alter radically and forever humanity’s historic understanding of marriage leaves us deeply disappointed and troubled.

We strongly uphold the Catholic Church’s clear teaching that we always treat our homosexual brothers and sisters with respect, dignity and love. But we just as strongly affirm that marriage is the joining of one man and one woman in a lifelong, loving union that is open to children, ordered for the good of those children and the spouses themselves. This definition cannot change, though we realize that our beliefs about the nature of marriage will continue to be ridiculed, and that some will even now attempt to enact government sanctions against churches and religious organizations that preach these timeless truths.

We worry that both marriage and the family will be undermined by this tragic presumption of government in passing this legislation that attempts to redefine these cornerstones of civilization.

Our society must regain what it appears to have lost – a true understanding of the meaning and the place of marriage, as revealed by God, grounded in nature, and respected by America’s foundational principles.”
