His autobiography states:

“When a pope or a teacher must say ‘I am in charge here,’ or ‘I am the superior here,’ it is because he has already lost authority and is seeking to attribute it to himself with words. Saying that one has the staff of command implies that one no longer has it. Having the staff of command does not mean giving orders and imposing, but serving.”

Few surprises. Francis is just that way.

Thank you, Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, we will miss your anointed words. Thank you, for your continued prayers, to Jesus, who is Our Supreme Shepherd. So, now I abandon myself and the whole world, to Divine Providence. Christ is the Alpha and the Omega. The Beginning and the End.

Seems like, for Lent 2013 we will all be called upon, to give up this Dear Pope Benedict XVI – into Christ’s hands. I never thought, I would be called to give up the Pope, for Lent. However, Christ calls us to a living “detachment to any person, place or thing.” God is in control, not us. With Job I finally say, “The LORD giveth and The LORD taketh away. Blessed be the Name of the LORD.”

On A Lighter Note: I sure hope the next Pope wears glasses or sunglasses, at some point. ;) Pope Benedict XVI is my header photo, on this website.

A police officer did this to an Autistic Nine Year Old – Little Boy!!! This is Child Abuse by an “Out of Control – Cop!“ Shame on him! I say to that cop, “Pick on someone your own size – not a little boy – with severe mental disabilities!”

Pray for this little boy, his mother, that Cop, and his Police Dept. Obama should step in and defend this little one.

Documents a pro-life group has obtained show the Planned Parenthood abortion business, which waited five hours before sending a woman who died from a botched legal abortion to the hospital, never called 911.

“Jansen concluded: “But we do know that 24-year old Tonya Reaves had an abortion at Planned Parenthood’s Loop Health Center and died 12 hours later — and Planned Parenthood needs to be held accountable for her death.”

It’s called the Mass of the Last Supper – Not the Mass of the Last Midnight Snack!

Praise God, that Pope Benedict XVI is having the Mass of the Lord’s Supper at the proper Dinner Hour; 5:30 PM (1730). EWTN is covering it, right now. It’s 11:30 am here in the EST Zone, so it must be 5:30 pm in Rome, because they are 6 Hours ahead of us.

However, our Bishops and Priests, in the USA, celebrate the Mass of the Last Supper as if it was the Good Lord’s Last Midnight Snack, it seems. So, one has to pray to stay awake, during it.

Catholics who ride the City Transit System can never attend Easter Vigil, or Holy Thursday Mass. Many have not been to Mass on Easter, in years because of it. Last bus out to my house is at 9:15 pm. It is a cross. I like Holy Thursday Mass. I really do not like the Easter Vigil Mass, because it is way too long!
