With the nation’s Catholic bishops launching a new campaign today, the Fortnight of Freedom, to draw attention to the ways in which the Obama administration is violating religious liberty and conscience issues, the bishops are finding themselves under attack.
A leaked email from a liberal, George Soros-funded “Catholic” group called Faith in Public Life, is working behind the scenes to attack the bishops and try to get media outlets to run negative stories about the campaign.
NARAL is acting juvenile!
Looks like a good book. May get for my sons, for their birthday. Or the EWTN DVD of it. This Dominican explains Morality and Catholicism better than other priests, on EWTN. Fr Pacwa is smart, too. But seems this priest is more like St Thomas Aquinas and St Dominic. He has the gift of preaching.
I catch onto to what he teaches, quickly. Probably because my Parish Priest, as a child tended to be Thomistic and Systematic Catechist. (He taught the Baltimore Catechism and Bible History, with such passion and a twinkle in his eye, that you just loved, to learn more and more about God.)
For someone with disabilities all my life: a methodical and precisional presentation of Truth made more sense to me.
Truth attracts my heart.
Truth is a somebody – not a something.
Jesus said, “I am The Way, The Truth and The Life.”
I’ll probably by the book or DVD. If God allows it.
Better get to Mass. I will pray for all of you and all I promised to pray for and should pray for.
Update: Today the city police are washing their hands of the STD Clinic Police Report — thinking the clinic is not in their Jurisdiction.
Michigan State Police is only Open 8-5, M-F.
County Sherriff Dept is Paid by County Government who leases from the Sisters, so it is a “conflict of interest,” for them.
Township Police are also a possibility.
Meanwhile, time is ticking. It is frustrating when you know this is an emergent issue, when someone is in danger.
“God show me The Way!”
God always Calms the Sea! He’s in charge.
I sensed the City Police Dept was not going to get involved, last night. Those “technicalities” get in the way, of doing the right thing, immediately. No wonder crime is rampant. No one seems to act promptly. By the time help comes, the crimes multiply exponentially.
“Dear God — I really hate drama!”
Seems “due diligence” should win, not bad people.
