BELLEFONTE, Pa. — Jerry Sandusky was convicted Friday of sexually assaulting 10 boys over 15 years, accusations that had sent shock waves through the college campus known as Happy Valley and led to the firing of Penn State’s beloved Hall of Fame coach, Joe Paterno.”

“Sandusky, a 68-year-old retired defensive coach who was once Paterno’s heir apparent, was found guilty of 45 of 48 counts. He faces life in prison at sentencing, which is weeks away.”

“Sandusky showed little emotion as the verdict was read. The judge ordered him to be taken to the county jail to await sentencing in about three months.”

My Two Cents Worth

Thank you, Jesus! May those young men feel God’s Love, knowing God is a God of JUSTICE! Praise God — for this Guilty Verdict! Help them to begin to heal. May other victims of Child Sexual Abuse come forward, without fear, to a trusted adult that they are being abused. And, may they too get Justice.

This convinces me of a course of action, that I must undertake. I must make a police report about the HHS Dept here in town who boasted to me, in a telephone interview, that they are giving whole boxes of condoms, to kids as young as twelve, w/o Parental Consent, who visit their STD Clinic.

I told my Bishop, and I told the Papal Nuncio, and My Bishop wrote back calling me by my married name, not my maiden name. It was a cowardly dig at me, by a Bishop who made it clear he was into disputable behavior rather than working on this together, with me. That was in February. I have waited long enough. He had his chance to act. Now, I must call and make a Police Report with the City. The County Sheriff would have a prejudicial interest. They are paid by this entity.

It will not be easy, but it is for those kids, that I will fight for, pushing through my own fear of not having any clout but what is right and just.
