Polls Show Obama, Romney Close in 2012 Battleground States

Romney, earlier this year, called for overturning the Roe v. Wade decision that allowed virtually unlimited abortions throughout pregnancy for any reason and resulted in more than 54 Million Abortions on Unborn Children.

Romney made the following statement on the 39th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade:

“Today marks the 39th Anniversary of one of the darkest moments in Supreme Court history, when the court in Roe v. Wade claimed authority over the fundamental question regarding the Rights of the Unborn. The result is millions of lives since that day have been tragically silenced. Since that day, the pro-life movement has been working tirelessly in an effort to change hearts and minds and protect the weakest and most vulnerable among us. Today, we recommit ourselves to reversing that decision, for in the quiet of conscience, people of both political parties know that more than a million abortions a year cannot be squared with the good heart of America.”

“Pro-life physicians, pharmacists and their supporters gathered Wednesday with Gov. Brownback for the ceremonial signing of the new Healthcare Rights of Conscience law, a top priority for Kansans for Life.”

“The Healthcare Rights of Conscience law, which will go into effect July 1, updates 40-year-old state statutes, which clearly covered hospitals and staff opposed to abortion.”

“The new law will protect individual medical practitioners from job loss and medical facilities from lawsuits when they absent themselves from abortion involvement and referrals. This protection also would extend to involvement with drugs and devices “reasonably believed” to cause abortion.”

Reinstalling programs on my computer!

Ahhhhhhhhhh! What a mess! I am technically challenged and allergic to a product I used. And my sugar is a mess.

God is saying, ” Now hear this: this is a test. For the next few hours you will be tested a lot. Hang in there. This Pop Quiz will eventually pass.”

On the contrary God. It’s been a whole week of tests. That fix-it man made off with the money and new chain saw and the roof work was not even done. And, the gang has been having fun taunting me all week. Help! TYVM. Amen. Oh and I am itchy….a lot! Amen. Over and out good buddy. ;)

PS I’m insomniac again tonight. Worry is highly over rated and doesn’t do me any good. Help me to settle down, God. Thanks.

Pope says Vatican II did not reject Eucharistic adoration or processions

Pope says Vatican II did not reject Eucharistic adoration or processions

Pope Benedict offered an open-air Mass in the piazza outside his cathedral, the Basilica of St. John Lateran. The Feast of Corpus Christi commemorates the real presence of Christ’s body and blood in the Eucharist and has been celebrated universally since 1264.

The Pope told the large outdoor congregation that the way Eucharistic adoration was de-emphasized in the Church was “influenced by a certain secularizing mentality of the 1960s and ‘70s” and this had “repercussions for the spiritual life of the faithful.”

He proposed that limiting one’s relationship with the “Eucharistic Jesus” solely to the moment of the Mass risked “emptying his presence in the rest of existential time and space,” including in our daily lives.

“In order to truly communicate with another person, I have to know him, I need to know how to remain in silence near him, to listen to him, to look upon him with love,” he said.

“True love and true friendship,” he continued, “lives always in this reciprocity of gazes, of intense eloquent silences, full of respect and of veneration, so that the encounter is lived profoundly, in a personal and not superficial way.”

“In the moment of adoration, we are all on the same level, on bended knee before the Sacrament of Love,” he said.

My Two Cents Worth

I needed Jesus growing up. I even road my bike to church, to be close to Him, several times, when I was a teenager.
