Amazing saint! I read the life story of this saint, in the 1990′s. On Oct. 10, 2002, I had a little miracle, from this saint. I recalled him, when I was saying my Morning Prayers. I said to Pierre, “If you didn’t make it, nobody will. Then, I prayed ‘Pierre Toussaint, pray for us.’” At noon I turned on the local news and learned a Semi Truck, in Detroit slammed into a school bus. Kids were taken to nearby hospitals and one was taken to Toledo, OH. What was the name of the school? Pierre Toussaint Academy! I KNOW Venerable Pierre Toussaint is a Saint, in Heaven! He and I both prayed for those kids, even before that accident happened. I wrote and told the Cardinal, in Detroit. I hope I can be in Rome, when he is made a saint.
