Drummer and Pianist!

I play both of these by ear, and can sit down to either one, and crank out a good beat or awesome concerto.

I'm a composer! Visit my other website: http://www.CatholicNotions.com

Yeah, sons, your mom can do this and then some. I just never told you.

I’m a diverse musician. Just can’t dance, for the life of me. Well, the cat and dog don’t mind when I try. I’m the Grandma type, now. My sons just didn’t know this. It wasn’t until I snuck up to a drum set, in a Catholic Church, and had at it, that I realized I can play both the drums and the piano very well for Jesus. [I've had drum lessons, so I can read notes for drums, just not the piano. Go figure.] It’s just the thought of performing in public, that makes me want to throw up. I’m a closet enthusiast! :D

My cat thinks I’m crazy tonight….momma has happy feet.

During Tuesday’s Moffat County Commission meeting, Rick Barnes, a Republican candidate for the commission’s District 2 seat, asked the current board to sign a resolution protecting habeas corpus and civil liberties in Moffat County.

Habeas corpus is a legal principle that safeguards individual freedoms against arbitrary imprisonment by the state.

Habeas Corpus sounds like a great law. I'll see if I can convince my county and state can do this too.

Radical homosexual activists wanted Dharun Ravi's head on a platter, and today they got it.

Saint Patrick: Green Beer Has Nothing To Do With Him

Reblogged from Chief of the least:

Contrary to popular belief, Saint Patrick's Day wasn't founded on creepy leprechauns, cheesy parades, and nasty green beer. The day also originally had nothing to do with getting so incomprehensibly slobber-knocked that even Irish cuisine begins to taste good (Crubeens? Black Pudding?!). Saint Patrick's Day was actually founded on a real Christian missionary who wasn't even Irish.

Though much of the life of Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, has been mythologized, there are a couple solid historical sources that remain about the fifth century saint.

Thoughtful article. "St Patrick, pray for us, now and at the hour of death. Amen."

Riverdance’s Final Performance! Irish Dance!

Dear Mom:

This video’s for you and all my Irish Ancestors, in County Cork, Ireland. I do wish God had given me your talent, to dance. But, I guess I inherited Dad’s legs, that get really tangled up, when I attempt, to.

Now, if I could just fake folks out and stand in one place, and flail my arms all about. Then, maybe, nobody would notice my feet aren’t moving much.

I love the Irish Jig and Highland Step Dancing. These River-Dance shows were so awesome. They are so talented! I am, so glad, that they preserved it on video, on You Tube.

I Love Ya: Mom, Grandma, Grandpa, and Dad, Aunt Pauline and Georgie etc. I miss you all bunches. Rest in peace!

Weather Worn

I’ve lived through a horrific tornado. So, I get apprehensive when the clouds look menacing.

These clouds are moving very slowly. Stationary front, I guess.
