Prayer to St. Jude during times of Desolation

“Oh glorious apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered thy beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused thee to be forgotten by many, but the Church honors and invokes thee universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who am so miserable; make use, I implore thee, of that particular privilege accorded thee of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, particularly (mention your request), and that I may bless God with thee and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise thee, O blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor thee as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to thee. Amen.”

Saint Jude is Patron Saint of Hopeless and Desperate Cases. He is a cousin of Jesus. His mother was Mary the wife of Cleophas, who was a brother of St Joseph.

St Jude’s mother is mentioned, in Scripture as having stood under Christ Jesus’ Cross on Calvary, on Good Friday.

Prayer to Persevere during Times of Spiritual Desolations

Prayer to Persevere during Times of Spiritual Desolations

Store up strength during the time of Godly consolation, for the times, when Godly desolation is allowed, by God.

Just as Joseph in Egypt was given a premonition, from God that there would be 7 years of abundance in crops, and 7 years of famine; so must we prepare for times of desolation, by praying for strength, when it returns.

Thoughts from the Retreat Master on EWTN’s program on Saint Ignatius’ Spiritual Exercises, every Thursday, at 2:00 pm. (Rule 10 of St. Ignatius)

It has helped me to pause and think today, as I was doing my chores. And, I uttered a little prayer.

Euthanasia, and Terri Schiavo’s Murder

Euthanasia turns the doctor/patient relationship into an executioner/victim relationship. ~ EWTN program on Terri Schiavo. Sadly, I agree. :-(

Terri Schiavo changed her hair color, and her husband attacked her for it. What a guy!

I saved all the Schindler Family’s proof, from their website, in 2005. A neurosurgeon said Terri Schiavo’s Brain CT Scan was normal upon admittance to the hospital. After being there for 60 Days, a second Brain CT Scan indicated that it look like she’d been hit in the head with a 2×4, after admittance, into that hospital. Terri’s husband had a tract record of Physical Abuse. Later, he abused his girlfriend’s too.

I think her husband got away with murder. I think Judge Greer ignored the damning Medical Facts that her Parents were not allowed, to see, until it was too late. Judge Greer didn’t give a damn, about Terri Schiavo. He was only interested, in the 15 minutes of fame, that he got, from being the US Judge, that authorized her Euthanasia – as if she was a dog.

My Two Cents Worth

My grandmother had water (hydration) removed, from her and I saw her before she died. My Grandma’s tongue was so swollen – that is grew to 8-9 inches and was laying on the pillow, next to her head. …. This is the same way Terri Schiavo died. Hydration and Nutrition was denied her.

Removal of Hydration and Nutrition is the Standard Practice of “Hospice” in the United States of America, for those who are dying. I think hastening someone’s death, for your own benefit is PURE EVIL! I think it’s a Hell of a Way, to die.

ObamaCare has “Death Panels” in it. The sick and the dying have to prove their worth, by themselves or an ombudsman. They will be forced to listen to this Death Panel’s speeches about the benefits of dying, on their “time table.” This is coercive and disrespects the dignity that the sick and dying have – given to them by God.

May God have Mercy on our World. It’s a mess, if you ask me. I have cared for the sick and dying, since I was twelve – and I have a deep love and concern, for their welfare. May God have Mercy, on them, too.

“RIP Terri Schiavo. Pray for us, to the Lord, Our God. Amen.”
